Full Tuition Endowed Scholarships
The following two full paid scholarships are awarded after personal interviews conducted by a College of Nursing associate dean or BSN program coordinator and a college faculty committee and are not part of the named/endowed scholarship application. Students are invited to interview based on entering academic standing (cumulative college GPA, includes all course work in college taken).
Helene Fuld Health Trust Scholarship
Each applicant must be an outstanding undergraduate
student with a GPA between 3.9 and 4.0. This scholarship pays for all tuition, fees, and books and is awarded
each June to 1-2 new junior students with
high academic standing. These funds will be paid at the beginning of the
junior year summer session and the four subsequent semesters
contingent upon maintaining a 3.0 GPA in all nursing courses each
semester.
Dean’s Excellence Award for Future Nurse
Educators
Each applicant must be an outstanding undergraduate student with a
GPA between 3.9 and 4.0.
The College of Nursing has established this fund to recruit and
support a fully funded scholarship to cover tuition and fees
for a top academic student admitted to the College of Nursing.
Tuition and fees cover the
initial summer semester and two academic years. The award will be given
on a biennial basis. One of the requirements for application to this
award will be a commitment to pursue a PhD and a pledge to devote their career
to teaching in an Arkansas School of Nursing. Applicants must demonstrate leadership
activities and community service.
