Graduate Nursing Program Applications

Master's Application
Deadline date is April 1, 2010 for Fall 2010
Incomplete application packets or applications received after this date will NOT be reviewed.
(To be reviewed the following must be received by application deadline:  completed and signed application, official MAT or GRE score report, all official transcripts in sealed envelopes from each issuing institution.)
MNSc applications received for the September 1, 2010 deadline for Spring 2011 admission will require the payment of an application fee (cashier's check or money order only) before file can be reviewed for admission.

Master's Bridge Application
For people with a bachelor's degree in another field and an RN license
Deadline date is April 1, 2010 for Fall 2010

(To be reviewed the following must be received by application deadline:  completed and signed application, official MAT or GRE score report, all official transcripts in sealed envelopes from each issuing institution.  Deficiency course exemption portfolios and portfolio fee must also be received by the deadline.)
MNSc bridge applications received for the September 1, 2010 deadline for Spring 2011 admission will require the payment of an application fee (cashier's check or money order only) before file can be reviewed for admission.

MNSc applicants taking the GRE will need to select UAMS College of Nursing code #2136 to have the official score sent directly to the  UAMS College of Nursing Admissions Office.

MNSc applicants taking the MAT will need to use code #1850 to have their official score sent  directly to the UAMS College of Nursing Admissions Office.

Master's Transfer Information*
Information for applicants wanting to transfer courses from another Master's program to UAMS-College of Nursing.
Applicant must also complete a Master's Application*. 
MNSc applications received for the September 1, 2010 deadline for Spring 2011 admission will require the payment of an application fee (cashier's check or money order only) as well as the course review fee before file can be reviewed for admission.
 

Nursing Doctoral (PhD) Applications

 Deadline date is January 2, 2010 for Summer 2010

For the doctoral degree program, you must complete 2 (two) applications:
one  (1) for the College of Nursing and one  (1) for the Graduate School.  
(Graduates from the College of Nursing will automatically have copies of all transcripts
 in their files forwarded to the UAMS Graduate School upon application.)

1.  College of Nursing*
N-PhD applications require the payment of an application fee
(cashier's check or money order only) before file can be reviewed for admission.

2.  Graduate School*

Nursing PhD applicants taking the GRE will need to select UAMS Graduate School (#6109) to have official scores sent directly to the UAMS Graduate School.
